Teenage Monster
————————————
Everybody’s growing yet you’re already there
Try to mind your own business but they stop and stare
You’re a Monster! Monster!
A Teenage Monster! Monster!
You have to shave 3 times a day cause your hair grows so fast.
Most of your friends can’t even grow a mustache.
You’re a Monster! Monster!
A Teenage Monster! Monster!
24 hour power drinks mean nothing to you
but you volunteer at the blood bank cause you just have to.
You’re a Monster! Monster!
A Teenage Monster! Monster!
You’re a Monster! You’re a Monster! You’re a Monster! You’re a Monster!
Your friends are wrapped in studies and they’re wrapped up in what?
I’ve been rappin’ so long i remember KING TUT!
You’re a Monster! Monster!
A Teenage Monster! Monster!

Bats & Spiders
——————————
When you’re alone at night
It’s cause you quite a fright
Of ghosts and bugs that bite
A menagerie of horrible delights
Like bats & spiders
Ghouls & goblins
Together in a haunted house
Spells & potions
Magic secrets
You’re in a big old house
Watching a scary movie on TV
When you hear a bump in the hall
If you just hold still
The ghosts will never bother you at all
All was silent
Until this moment
Now there’s a clamor in the hall
Now Eerie spirits
Appear then vanish
When you finally settle to sleep
A disembodied voice comes from the ceiling
And tells you to get out
10,000 spiders chase you out the front hall
Bats & spiders
Scary voices
Command you to get out the house
Moving objects
Float behind you
Bats & spiders
Ghouls & goblins
Together in a haunted house
Spells & potions
Magic secrets

Ill thoughts and deeds
take shape at night
when bad things begin to stir
With rotten minds
and skin bleach white
a malevolence so pure.

The Evil Crypt Keeper

The Evil Crypt Keeper
——————————————
There once was an evil crypt keeper
who practiced the blackest arts
reanimating dead bodies
in his cellar after dark.
The graveyard’s neighbors grew suspicious
of strange noises heard within
and so they asked the crypt keeper,
“What is the source of all the din?”
“I am your only crypt keeper.
I’ve buried half of all your kin.
How could you treat me with suspicion?
Do not come to me again!”
And, so the years went on and on…
The townsfolk learned to ignore the sounds
and no one dared go near the graveyard
in the hours after sundown.
But after many years a young boy
wandered carelessly at night.
He stumbled blindly into the graveyard
in the total lack of light.
The boy was lost and scared and tired
and soon his feet grew very sore
and so the young boy sought safe refuge
at the evil crypt keeper’s door.
But, when he stepped down to the cellar
he was heard from nevermore…
“Cresco Maleficus Corpus Excitare
Sepulchrum Ab Terrigenus
Surgam Nunc Oriri!!!”
At this the townsfolk grew very angry
and they gathered in the square.
A vengeful mob was quickly formed.
People came from everywhere
and then they marched down to the graveyard
calling for his evil head
but the crypt keeper was waiting
with the Legion of Undead!
“I told you once before to leave me,
but you did not listen to my wish.
Now, you shall meet all my minions.
I’m sorry it had to come to this!!!”
The throng cried out for his damned soul
and for the memory of their clans.
In response there came a shriek
with which the bloodlet began.
The town and graveyard are still there
and people share this morbid tale.
And, if you wander near the graveyard
townsfolk tell you to beware!
Now, life has long since turned to normal.
You may say this all sounds trite
but the townsfolk still hear noises
from some evil source at night.

Creepers
———————
A scary mask and a bloody white sheet
It’s been a year so it’s time to trick or treat
We hit the streets as the sun’s going down
The crunch of leaves is underneath our feet
and we can have loads of fun
on this Halloween
and we can have loads of fun
on this Halloween
We can bob for apples
and cross cemeteries
We can carve jack-o’-lanterns.
We showed up late to the costume party.
That cardboard robot was such a sight to see
You couldn’t tell who anyone was.
With wigs and masks we were all so discreet
and we can have loads of fun
on this Halloween
and we can have loads of fun
on this Halloween
We can bob for apples
and cross cemeteries
We can carve jack-o’-lanterns.
Another Haunted Hallows’ Eve
As you step out to trick or treat
in shadows lurking we will be
Another Haunted Hallows’ Eve
We will hold a seance and
cast magic spells.
We will summon the dead.
On this Halloween.
We will hold a seance and
cast magic spells.
We will summon the dead.

Tell Me
—————
Voices from the graveyard
Leaf on the vine
Digging up artifacts in the yard
Tell me what did you find
Transcribing bird song
Never finding a word for time
Watching the river go rushing by
Tell me where does it wind
Push aside the bramble
Never knowing just what you’ll find
Bones and hair and feathers tied in locks
Playing tricks on your mind.

A Ghost at the Grocery Store
————————————————
Well, I awoke with my stomach grumbling
So I went to the refrigerator.
Wouldn’t you know it there wasn’t nothing there.
Well, that left me with no choice but
To head down to the local market
I gotta get some food in the house
I gotta feed my hungry mouth
When I arrived the lot was empty
There didn’t seem to be a soul in sight
I went walking through the sliding doors anyhow
Once inside the store was dark but
I had to get my grocery shopping done
I gotta get some food in the house
I gotta feed my hungry mouth
In aisle four the prices were right but
I was treated to a ghastly sight
An apparition under the can good sign
I turned and ran just as fast as I could right
Out the front door and into the parking lot
I saw a ghost at the grocery store
I guess I won’t be shopping there no more
Well, I was scared but I was hungry
I knew I had to go back inside
I grabbed a cart and ran straight for the frozen foods
Opened the cooler, started filling my cart up
Don’t really want to live on frozen dinners but
I gotta get some food in the house
I gotta feed my hungry mouth
I turned and ran straight back to the checkout
When I noticed a lack of cashiers
I had to run and find the self-checkout aisle
I started scanning just as fast as I could cause
I really wanted to get the heck out of there
but
I gotta get some food in the house
I gotta feed my hungry mouth
I finished scanning and I reached for my wallet
I felt a shiver going down my spine
All my groceries were floating up in the air
I double took my whole body shook cause
An evil entity was bagging my groceries
I saw a ghost at the grocery store
I guess I won’t be shopping there no more
No apparitions in the kitchen aisle
No more ghosts in the produce section now
No more specters wrecking the checkout line!!!

Creature! Creature!
More than you’ll ever know
I once had a lab that was falling apart
No work was coming in
But curious minds they gotta stay sharp
And now they really cringe
Creature! Creature!
How I love you so
Creature! Creature!
More than you’ll ever know
It can get kinda lonely in a secret lab
So it was time for an evil friend
Somnambulist and vampire’s kiss
Is all you really need to make a
Creature! Creature!
How I love you so
Creature! Creature!
More than you’ll ever know
Sometimes - They label you a genius
Sometimes - They TP your house
Sometimes - They label you a genius
Sometimes - They TP your house

Duct taped to a tortoise shell
Don’t cross the cables or they will spark
Your creation will go to (blonk bleep hargh whomp)

Incantation III
—————————
Near the west wood
where the children now play.
Is a tree where once
a tunnel did lay.
Fashioned by ancient men
with trophies made from enemies’ hands.
It’s said their spirits
still haunt this land.
When silent at odd time of day
one hears burrowed scratches of attack.
Don’t turn your head around
I fear, O NO, they may be BACK!

House of Waiting
——————————
We walked to the house, the house of waiting
Well, we walked to the house, the house of waiting
People lining up, their hearts were racing
We walked to the house, the house of waiting
The walls were black and red and the floors were fading
Stairs that lead nowhere and the walls are bare
Rooms inside of rooms and the halls were breathing
You think you’re making tracks, but you’re back where you started
You try to walk the hall but it has no end
Found an elevator shaft from whence there is no way to get back
Shadows all around but no source of natural light
Suffocating in your mind driving you to madness
Can’t escape the dark corners no sign of a window or door

Moonlight Madness
———————————
It’s too late I’ve missed that night again
to take a friend and walk end to end
down the streets of my hometown.
I said, “I’m showing up.
Put the mark on the calendar.”
But I forgot or something.
You take a friend or you might take a date
and all the shops stay open late.
If you’re lucky there’s a goblin parade
when you walk downtown.
I stepped out of the Milford Bakery
and I saw Count Scary.
I guess so did Randy.
I used to go every single year.
Then, I lived quite near
and I’ve moved away since.
You take a friend or you might take a date
and all the shops stay open late.
Drink some cider or coffee Kool-Aid
when you walk downtown…
